Almost Is Not Good Enough

Acts 26:28, “...ALMOST thou persuadest me to be a Christian.”

One of the saddest Scriptures in all the Bible is Acts 26:28, “...ALMOST thou persuadest me to be a Christian.” Unfortunately, “Almost” is NOT good enough. I wonder how many people are burning in Hell right now that “almost” accepted Christ as their Savior, but didn’t do so.

King Agrippa “ALMOST” got saved; but that is not good enough in God's eyes. Jesus said, “Except a man be born again he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:7). Ye must be born again. What a sad moment it will be on Judgment Day when king Agrippa is sentenced to the Lake of Fire for all eternity, realizing that he “ALMOST” got saved. Oh, how the tears will flow.

Few people today realize that they are in trouble with the Law—GOD'S LAW. God's Law indicts all of us as woeful sinners. God wants to clear your name and pardon you of all the indictments against you. All God asks is that you enter a guilty plea and receive Christ's payment for your sins. Jesus paid it all.
