The king's law vs. God's Law
By David J. Stewart
"And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah: And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive." —Exodus 1:15-17
The Israelites had multiplied greatly, and the state government (Pharaoh) decided to reduce the population. The king of Egypt made a law that all male babies were to be aborted, "But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive." Thank God for those decent mothers. Would to God that women today would say "No" to the heathen government's law on abortion. I want you to notice in Exodus 1:17 the phrase BUT THE MIDWIVES FEARED GOD. They feared God, and because they feared God they DID NOT AS THE KING OF EGYPT COMMANDED THEM.
Oh to God that mothers today would FEAR GOD. Would to God that pregnant mothers today would fear God, and obey Him, and refuse to surrender to the abortion laws of the Godless state. Exodus 20:13 commands... "THOU SHALT NOT KILL!"
Planned Parenthood is a heathen institution, which go the extra mile to encourage and help pregnant women destroy their babies by abortion. It is evil. If you're looking for a reason to murder your child, Planned Parenthood will provide dozens for you. But ultimately, people don't do what they do for any certain reason(s), they do what they do because it's what they wanted to do, and then look for reasons to justify it. You can believe a lie if you want to, but you can't fool God. We ought to fear God!
Who are you going to obey... the king or God? ...the heathen government or God?
"But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive." —Exodus 1:17
