Pantheism

Broadly defined it is the view that (1) “God is everything and everything is God … the world is either identical with God or in some way a self-expression of his nature” (Owen 1971: 74). Similarly, it is the view that (2) everything that exists constitutes a “unity” and this all-inclusive unity is in some sense divine (MacIntyre 1967: 34). A slightly more specific definition is given by Owen (1971: 65) who says (3) “‘Pantheism’ … signifies the belief that every existing entity is, only one Being; and that all other forms of reality are either modes (or appearances) of it or identical with it.” Even with these definitions there is dispute as to just how pantheism is to be understood and who is and is not a pantheist. Aside from Spinoza, other possible pantheists include some of the Presocratics; Plato; Lao Tzu; Plotinus; Schelling; Hegel; Bruno, Eriugena and Tillich. Possible pantheists among literary figures include Emerson, Walt Whitman, D.H. Lawrence, and Robinson Jeffers. Beethoven (Crabbe 1982) and Martha Graham (Kisselgoff 1987) have also been thought to be pantheistic in some of their work—if not pantheists.

I love Alex Jones like a brother. Alex has taught me so much about what's going on in the world today. Since 2002 God has used Alex to open my eyes, and I do believe that Alex is a blessing to America from the Lord. God always gives us the truth—even in our utter wickedness. Romans 1:18, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.” Our problem today is not that we don't have the truth today; but that we have the truth and REJECT IT. This was the sin of the Israelites in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge.”
Alex Jones has produced a new 20-minute video titled, “HUMANITY'S GREATEST THREAT: STAIRWAY TO THE UNIVERSE.” As much as I admire and love Alex, as a Christian I have to refute (expose) his false teachings in this video, because he totally leaves out the cross of Jesus Christ in his call to humanity to “Reach for the stars.” Alex horrible takes the Bible out of context and teaches religious humanism along with evolution...
“Think how far humanity has come in the last 6,000 years. Think of where we could go. As the Bible says, 'The ear has not heard, the eye has not seen, what is in store for us.' We are at the jump point for our civilization, for our species. Everything we do now will govern the future of human development forever. Humanity is only in an embryonic phase now. If we're able to continue our development. We are made in the image of the Creator of the universe. We are creators. We are powerful.”

The Bible disagrees strongly with Alex. Humanity is not in an “embryonic phase” now. God created Adam with superior intelligence. Adam named all the animals and every living thing. Genesis 2:19, “And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.” Alex speaks of the stone age. Although the Egyptians did write on stones, they were highly intelligent and there was no development process. Mankind is not evolving, we are existing. That's the way God made it.
Infowars host Mike Adams is teaching some wild and scary things as well. Mike's latest video is titled, “THE GOD WITHIN” (even the title sounds new agey). This is frightening! Alex Jones and Mike Adams believe and teach that humanity is connected with the universe, and that by becoming aware through higher consciousness it will bring out the better side of humanity. Ladies and gentleman, this is pantheism.

The Bible teaches that the day is coming when TIME will be NO LONGER. The human species will not go on forever. Alex is teaching things without any regard for the Bible; yet he confuses people by frequently referring to the Bible in quotes.
Revelation 10:6, “And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer.”
Cosmology is the philosophical study of the origin and nature of the universe. Mike Adams has started a new website dedicated to teaching conscious cosmology. Alex warns that if we allow the globalists to enslave humanity, then we have no future. Both Mike and Adam say that we're fighting for the future of humanity. Although we do need to fight against spiritual wickedness in high places as Ephesians 6:12 teaches, the future of humanity is in God's hands, not man's. The Bible teaches that the New World Order will happen. I'm not saying that we should lay down and accept tyranny, nor am I saying that we shouldn't give our every effort to fight against the New World Order; but the human species is in God's hands, not man's. God is still on His throne.
Alex evidently based his title “STAIRWAY TO THE UNIVERSE” on Led Zeppelin's “STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN” song, which he has recently been promoting on his show.
I admire Alex Jones tremendously for his wealth of knowledge about genetics and the New World Order. Alex has done his homework! He knows what he's talking about when it comes to genetics, fluoride, vaccinations and the sciences. However, Alex sadly lacks the Biblical knowledge to fight the good fight of faith. Instead, he is contributing to the Devil's cause by leading men away from Christ. Colossians 2:8 says to be on guard (beware) lest any man be led away (spoiled) by secular philosophies, vain deceits, manmade traditions and the world's heathen way of thinking.
We are told in Hebrews 11:6 that it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God without faith. Revelation 4:11 teaches that God created all things for His pleasure. Alex's teachings do not center around pleasing our Creator; but rather, reaching for the stars because we are made in the image of the Creator, so humanity may survive as a species forever upon the earth.
The Bible plainly teaches that it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God without faith...
Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Alex is trying change men through spiritual enlightenment and consciousness. Both Mike and Adam are teachings these New Age doctrines of divinity within mankind. Alex admits that he doesn't believe men can become gods, and yet he teaches that men have divinity within them. Both, Alex Jones' new video “Humanity's Greatest Secret: Stairway To The Universe” and Mike Adams' new video “The God Within” teach new age and religious humanism. It breaks my heart as a Christian.
Mike Adams states in “THE GOD WITHIN”...
“As we were created in his image, we each possess a fraction of the power of God—a slice of omniscient conscious godliness. We've only forgotten our connectiveness, and have been fooled into thinking we are separate from each other in the world around us. The ultimate answers may already exist within us, if we find the courage to look within rather than focusing our questions in the world out there. Because quantum physics now tells us—what we find in the world around us is merely a reflection of what we are within.”

That's a lie of Satan. Mankind does not posses a fraction of the power of God. Mike is diminishing God and exalting man. Mike Adam's video is extremely dangerous spiritually. Alex and Mike are tampering with spiritual matters that they don't understand at all. They are attempting to discern spiritual matters in the flesh.
In the clip you just heard from the July 9, 2012 Alex Jones Show, Mike Adams said “Your mind will be expanded beyond belief” after you watch the videos. That is the understatement of the year. It's all a bunch of heathen mumbo-jumbo that excludes the Bible and what God thinks. The Bible commands us in Deuteronomy 8:3 (which Jesus quoted in Matthew 4:4) not to live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. That means we need the Bible!
Alex Misinterprets 1st Corinthians 2:9 Horribly
Mike and Alex have published many articles and two movies this week alone; but not one mention is made of the doctrine of Christ, the name of Jesus, nor of anything concerning Biblical Christianity. Alex quotes 1st Corinthians 2:9 in his 20-minute video, “HUMANITY'S GREATEST THREAT: STAIRWAY TO THE UNIVERSE”; but he misinterprets the Bible horribly, saying:
'The ear has not heard, the eye has not seen, what is in store for us.' We are at the jump point for our civilization, for our species.”

Here is the Scripture from 1st Corinthians 2:9 that Alex quoted; but here you can see it within it's proper Biblical context (Alex takes it way out of context)...
1st Corinthians 2:9-16, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Carefully notice that God's promise of wonderful things that transcend the human eye and ear are only prepared for those WHO LOVE JESUS CHRIST. Alex applies this Scriptural promise to humanity as a whole, which is false teaching. My friend, you will burn in the fires and torments of Hell forever if you die IN YOUR SINS (John 8:24) without having trusted upon the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ as payment for your sins (Revelation 20:11-15). Christ died for your sins and mine. Christ was buried (officiating His death so no one could later say it was a staged event). Three days later Jesus miraculously arose from the dead. The very stone, seal and Roman soldier which were placed at the tomb (at the request of the Pharisees) to prevent fraud, verified beyond question that the Savior has risen! Christ is risen!!! Jesus paid our sin debt because He loves us (Romans 5:8). Is that your hope for Heaven friend? Do you believe the Gospel (good news) of Christ crucified, buried and risen for YOUR SINS? It's your only ticket to eternal life and Heaven.
Alex Jones & Mike Adams Are Teaching The Heresy Of Pantheism
Pantheism is the view that the universe (or nature) and God (or divinity) are united. This is almost identical to what Alex Jones and Mike Adams are teaching. Alex teaches new age in his new video...

God formed man with His own hands. Genesis 1:27, “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Humanity DIDN'T come from the universe! We DIDN'T come from all that is creation. Here is what the Bible teaches.

Mike Adam's believes that God is a “force,” a “consciousness,” called THE DIVINE. Mike calls God “it” (“it creates realities,” he says).
Interestingly, the Bible teaches that the Antichrist will not “regard the God of his fathers” (indicating that the man of sin will likely be Jewish). Daniel 11:37-38: “Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.” Notice that instead the Antichrist will “honour the god of forces.” That's exactly what Mike Adams and new agers teach, that is, the god is a force. Mike even uses the word force, calling it “that creative force.”[1]

Here are some Scriptures that differentiate between God and the universe that He created and keeps in motion...
Psalms 33:6, “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Psalms 136:5, “To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
Proverbs 3:19, “The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.”
Alex and Mike speak of the universe as if it has a life of its own. The universe is totally dependant upon God. God in His wisdom made the universe. It is dangerous that Mike is teaching God as a force, a consciousness. No my friends, God is a Being, an Individual, a Godhead as the King James Bible teaches in Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9. Colossians 2:2 calls the Godhead “the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.” Thankfully, we don't have to understand the Godhead to be saved, we just have to believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:30-31).

The Bible says that Adam was very intelligent and smart, naming every living creature (Genesis 2:19). Although mankind has greater technologies today, we are the same caliber human beings today as existed 6,000 years ago.

Religious humanism is a life stance that exults in being alive in this unimaginably vast and breathtakingly beautiful universe and that finds joy and satisfaction in contributing to human betterment. Without a creed but with an emphasis on reason, compassion, community, nature, and social responsibility, it is a way of living that answers the religious and spiritual needs of people today. A new humanism is emerging among Unitarian Universalists, a religious humanism informed by cultural developments and recent discoveries in the natural and human sciences and grounded in the larger context of religious naturalism, a religious humanism that offers depth, meaning, and purpose without sacrificing intellectual honesty or the spiritual dimension.
I couldn't have explained what Alex believes any better. My friend, you just read the words of an admitted humanist (which he states in the first sentence of the preceding quote). If you go to Murry's website and read more of the article, he claims to espouse “a nontheistic faith, a perspective that I call humanistic religious naturalism.” Alex Jones' beliefs and teachings are 100% religious humanism, leaving out the Word of God and Christianity completely. It is frustrating as a God-fearing Christian to hear Alex claim to be a Christian, but then he teaches nothing but religious humanism garbage. I say this kindly and with love as Ephesians 4:15 teaches, “Speaking the truth in love.”
Alex frequently claims to be a Christian; yet this is the type of humanistic philosophies propagated by Infowars...

Mankind is at a crossroads. Humanity faces a decision: embrace the dreams of the universe and the fact that humanity is special and has potential, or succumb to the death of domination by a predatory elite bent on wrecking the species and limiting the paradigms of the mind.
What are the “dreams of the universe?” Certainly humanity is special in the eyes of God, for whom God sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for humanity's sins (John 3:16 - King James Bible). Romans 5:8 and 1st John 3:16 teaches that God loves us. There is no debating whether or not mankind is special to God, for we are all made in the very image of God.
Yet, Alex speaks about the “potential” of humanity, which is 100% humanism. My friend, humanity has no potential for goodness and betterment without the new nature of Christ Jesus. 2nd Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Mankind is destined to destruction apart from the holy nature of Jesus Christ.

understand that the evil nature of mankind CANNOT be changed. The flesh
cannot be tamed. You won't find one word in the Bible about mankind
having any potential for goodness if he embraces the dreams of the universe.
The human heart is inherently evil according to Jeremiah 17:9. When a person
becomes a born-again Christian, their old nature doesn't change; but rather,
the Spirit of Christ comes to indwell that person. The “new creature” which
2nd Corinthians 5:17 speaks of is Jesus Christ. To walk in the Spirit as a
believer is to YIELD to God's Spirit living within our body, instead of
yielding to the old man of the flesh which cannot be changed.
This is why neither reformation, nor rehabilitation, nor education, nor legislation can restore liberty in America. Our nation is an immoral cesspool of iniquity because of the inherently wicked human nature. The answer is REGENERATION, that is, being born-again in Christ Jesus (or having He Who is the beginning born in us). Being born-again means that the Holy Spirit of God (which is called Christ's Spirit in Romans 8:9) comes to indwell (live inside) us. This happens by faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:26). If you receive THE GOSPEL (Christ's death, burial and resurrection) as payment for YOUR SINS, then you are saved (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).
Alex speaks as a foolish man who knows not Christ. The universe is the handiwork of God's hands. The universe has no dreams...
“Even if you don't believe in God, look at the beauty and the majesty of the universe. The universe doesn't make junk. And so don't ever feel like you're garbage. Don't ever let the system make you feel insecure and hollow inside, hoping that you never advance in your hierarchy of needs. They want to keep you stunted, while they live and we sleep—while they're conscious—while we're in a dream state!”

Alex explains in his new video that Hollywood and Madison Avenue try to make us feel inferior, indoctrinating the public to think that we need to buy their products to truly be happy. Albeit, when Alex starts talking about the dreams of the universe he sounds like a new ager heretic. What are the dreams of the universe? The Bible teaches something very different, that is, to fear God and obey His Commandments. Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” This is THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN!!! Alex never mentions fearing nor obeying God.
The Bible teaches that all things were created to please God. Revelation 4:11, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Alex speaks of the future of humanity, but he doesn't include God. Alex says we are powerful, creators, speaking about humanity...

Powerful? My friend, you are a sinner. If that makes you feel bad, good, it should (because it's the truth). The Bible doesn't teach that man is powerful; but rather, “I can do all things THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENETH ME” (Philippians 4:13). The Bible teaches that we are strong when we are weak, that is, when we trust upon the Lord (2nd Corinthians 12:10). Self has no place in the Christian life. Alex is encouraging listeners to be powerful, creative and to reach for the stars; but he's doing it all without faith in God. Not once did Alex nor Mike in their new videos even remotely hint to the importance of having faith in the God of the Bible.
Alex is way out in left field doctrinally. And worst of all, he's bashing preachers as “doctrinally henpecking” each other. I love Alex like a brother, but he is messed up in his beliefs. Alex is promoting religious humanism to, doctrines, to tens-of-millions of listeners around the world. Infowars presently is heard on 115 nationwide AM and FM radio stations! Alex has a tremendous amount of influence over people. Everything that Alex says and teaches leaves out the need for the new birth in Christ. It is dangerous when Alex leads tens-of-millions of people to believe that they can please God without being born-again.

Beware Of Wrestling The Scriptures
Alex Jones Bashes Preachers For Doctrinal Henpecking (July 11, 2012). Alex butchers the Bible, but then criticizes preachers for contending for the faith doctrinally. Jesus said in John 5:39 to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES! We are told in 2nd Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Alex and Mike haven't studied the Words of God, and so instead they WRONGLY divide the Scriptures...
2nd Peter 3:14-18, “Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
Notice that they who are UNLEARNED and UNSTABLE wrest (twist) the Scriptures to their own destruction (damnation). They are led away with the ERROR OF THE WICKED. And finally, notice in verse 18 that the Bible admonishes us to grow in grace, and in THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST!!! Alex has been led into the error of the wicked. Our text verse says:

The word spoil in the Greek is sulagogeo and means “to lead away as booty, that is, to seduce.” Booty is goods or money obtained illegally. Hence, the Bible warns that we should look and be on guard, lest Satan sinfully lead us away from Christ through philosophies, vain deceit and the established secular principles of the heathen world...
Romans 1:22, “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”
1st Corinthians 3:19, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.”
I am not trying to be unkind to anyone, but part of being a born-again Christian is contending for the Christian faith (Jude 1:3). The Bible tells us to “REBUKE THEM SHARPLY.” The Greek word for “sharply” means “with authority,” that is, with the authority of God's inspired Word...
Titus 1:10-11 and 13, “For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake... This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.”
Proverbs 28:23, “He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.”
