You Need HIS Righteousness!
By David J. Stewart
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." —Matthew 6:33
I am often frustrated with the heresy, and borderline heresy, which exists in many Gospel tracts today. The teaching that bothers me the most is the false notion that a person must "be willing to turn from sin" to be saved. It bothers me to no end, simply because the Word of God couldn't be clearer that eternal life is a FREE GIFT (Romans 5:15), paid for by Jesus' precious literal blood (1st Peter 1:18,19). Whether you're willing to turn from sin or not is irrelevant to the gift of God. What happens in a convert's heart after salvation is an entirely different matter (2nd Corinthians 5:17); but salvation is by grace through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8,9).
Consequently, I have written my own little Gospel tract, that I have been distributing lately to people everywhere I go. I made it with Microsoft Publisher. You are welcome to download the files and print your own. There are 2 files: the front of the tract, and then the back. You will need Microsoft Publisher 2000 or higher to print these tracts. One sheet of standard sized paper prints 4 Gospel tracts. Here are images of the tract...
Above Photo shows front and back of tract. Photo below shows inside of tract. Photos are enlarged.
Here are the same files for Microsoft Publisher 2003: Front of tract and Back of tract. You can open Microsoft Publisher 2000 files with the 2003 version; but you can't open the 2003 version with Microsoft Publisher 2000. Here are the earlier 2000 versions again: Front of tract and Back of tract.
Here are the text and photos from the tract if you'd like to copy/paste it elsewhere:

Hello friend. Please allow me to have one moment of your time to share with you the most important truth you'll ever read.
Many religions today falsely teach that a person is required to be baptized in order to go to Heaven.
Other religions falsely teach that a person is required to forsake their sins in order to go to Heaven.
Some religions falsely require a person to observe the Sabbath, tithe, partake of Sacraments, or join a certain religious denomination to go to Heaven. These are all lies of the Devil, who is the father of all liars (John 8:44).
Eternal life is a free gift (Romans 6:23).
The truth of God's Word is that we need Jesus' righteousness in order to be saved and go to Heaven one day.
This is because we have no righteousness of our own to offer God (Romans 3:10; James 2:10).
All we can offer God is our own self-righteousness, which is not acceptable to God (Isaiah 64:6).
We need Jesus' righteousness, which is by faith in Him alone for salvation...
"For he [God the Father] hath made him [Jesus the Son] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
Jesus paid for our sins with His blood.
We read in Romans 10:3-4, "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."
Salvation is found ONLY in Jesus Christ! Would you like to be saved?
- Admit that you are a GUILTY sinner, under the condemnation of God's Law, deserving of Hellfire.
- Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and save you.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." —John 1:12

You are listening to the Gospel song, Everybody Ought To Know [Who Jesus is]. Soulwinning is not an option in the Christian life, it is a divine command from the Lord (Proverb 11:30; Daniel 12:3; Matthew 28:19,20; Luke 14:23). If you are a born-again Christian, then I plead with you in Jesus' name to become aggressive about soulwinning.
Kindest regards,
David J. Stewart
