A Man Couldn't Ask for a Better Savior and God Than Jesus

Micah 7:18, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression
of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.”

I was thinking today about how awesome God is. I then I thought how great it is to know that He lives inside of my body and soul (1st Corinthians 3:16-17). And God chose to have it that way! John 14:23, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” Did you read that beautiful promise from God? If we obey God's Words, beginning with believing the Gospel, the Father will love us, and Jesus and the Father will live in us. I LOVE THAT!!!

God the Father and God the Son, indwell (live inside) every believer in the form of God the Holy Spirit. The Bible refers to the Holy Spirit as “the Spirit of Christ.” Romans 8:9, “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” The way that we know we are saved is by the presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit. 1st John 3:24, “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”

What God is a Good God, Like Unto Our Awesome God?

Have you ever pondered the horrifying thought, of what it would be like if the God of the universe were an evil and selfish God? What if Satan had been God almighty instead? Isn't it beautiful that the most powerful force in all the universe and beyond is a good person! God is a person. He has a personality. God can be approached and known. I feel sorry for people who believe in a God that cannot be known and fellowshipped with. My friend, to the same degree that you abide in the King James Bible, and spend time meditating on His Word and talking to the Lord in prayer, you will become familiar with God. Like anything else in life, the more that you invest your time into something, the more you'll get out of it!!!

As a boy growing up, do you know when I learned about my father the most? It was when we were working together. Matthew 11:29, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” A yoke is a wooden or metal device that is placed across the shoulders of two adjacent animals, like oxen, so they can share the load while pulling a plow. The Lord wants us to get into His yoke, laboring to get souls saved. Jesus asked Peter in John 21:17, “Lovest thou me?” God could have made us to love Him, but He is too

God wants you to want Him!!! The Bible promises that if we seek Him, we will find Him. Jeremiah 29:13, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Man is created in God's image. Men loved praise, just as God loves praise. I like to look over my finished work, after I complete a webpage, just as God checked over His work after 6-days of creation. I am made in God's image. God desires to be loved, just as I desire to be loved. Humans are much like God. Oh, how He loves you and me!!! God wants to be with us. I don't understand it, I just know it!

1Co:1:30: But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1Co:1:31: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

A man couldn't ask for a better God, for our precious Savior and God is a GOOD GOD...

Psalms 109:21, “But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.”

Psalms 118:1, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.”

Psalms 118:29, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

Psalms 135:3, “Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.”

Psalms 136:1, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

Our great God is a good God, worthy to be praised and loved with all of our soul and being. WHAT A PRECIOUS SAVIOR!!!

Who is a God Like Unto Ours, That Pardoneth Iniquity?

Who is a God like unto ours, Who pardons men's sins, no matter how ugly and abundant they may be. Our God is FULL OF MERCY, and HE LOVES TO PARDON!!! Literally, God enjoys setting us free from the punishment that we deserve for our sins. That's the whole reason Christ died on the cross for everyone, so that God the Father could set all free who trust in His only begotten Son.

A dear local pastor whom I love immensely, once showed me a Scripture years ago, as I wept in tears, sharing my burdens with him. I told him about some of my failures, loss and problems in my life. He instantly quoted to me a phrase from Habakkuk 3:2b, “O Lord... in wrath remember mercy.” He said, “You deserve God's wrath, but He has shown you mercy instead!” I never forgot that. And then he placed his hand on my shoulder and prayed with me. I still have a picture on my refrigerator that his granddaughter drew for me with a crayon, that I cherish. It's a picture of a little girl holding a book that says, “Bible,” and there's a little dog standing next to her. And it says, “To: Mr. Dave.”

Sadly, it's the same senior pastor of the local Bob Jones affiliated church, which is why I've never mentioned the name of their church. I could destroy their church online if I wanted, but I love their pastor too much to do that. After one year, that same pastor wanted me out of his church for my stand upon the King James Bible, and because I was telling the truth that the new International Version (NIV) is the AntiChrist's Bible. Literally, I gave the pastor the book by Dr. Al Lacy titled, NIV: The Antichrist' Bible!, for which I was called in the church office and given an ultimatum to be quiet or leave. I cried again, this time because I was losing my church family for standing for THE TRUTH!!!

Micah 7:18, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.”

Psalms 86:5, “For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.”

Psalms 86:15, “But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.”

Psalms 103:8, “The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.”

Hosea 10:12, “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”

Micah 7:18, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.”

Our precious God is a righteous God, and a good God, Who loves to pardon iniquity. A man couldn't ask for a better God, than to have a compassionate God, Who loves to pardon our sins and give us a second chance. Jonah 3:1a, “And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time...” God is a God of second chances!!! Amen!

Our great God predetermined before the world was ever created, that He would die for His creatures, humanity. What God would die for His created beings? Do you realize my friend that the almighty God of the universe came to this earth, in the form of a man, God incarnate, and died on the cross to pay your sin debt, so that you could be forgiven and have eternal life with Him. When Jesus was born into the world, “God was manifest in the flesh” (1st Timothy 3:16 - NOTE: All Scriptures are from the precious King James Bible). John 1:1-3 and 14, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” In Revelation 19:13, Jesus' “name is called The Word of God.”

When our dear Savior walked this earth. The awesome, loving and abundant love of the great God of the universe flowed through His very being, because Jesus is the only begotten Son of God the Father, which means that He is special. Jesus wasn't just a son, but rather, the ONLY begotten (biological) son of God the Father, thus making Jesus 100% God as well. Jesus received worship that Only God is entitled to. He calmed the raging wind and waves, as only God can do. Jesus didn't leave His deity in Heaven. Jesus was 100% a man, and also 100% God, in the flesh.

Dr. Hyles' mother's favorite Bible Verse was Psalms 103:14, “For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.” What a wonderful God, to tell us something like that in His Word. The Lord wanted us to know that He considers our human frailty, that we are made of dust, easily tired and prone to weakness. God is the keeper of men's souls. Romans 8:27, “And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” Isn't that precious? Jesus is watching out for us, interceding on our behalf (if you are saved), according to the Father's will. Jesus is always interceding for me (Hebrews 4:14-16; Romans 8:34). What a great God!!!

I am precious to God, and so are you my friend. The Bible says that God cares about us. 1st Peter 5:7, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” Matthew 10:29-30, “Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” God is so awesome, knowing even the very number of hairs on my head (or in my case, how many are gone...lol). I thank God for both of the hairs left on top of my head. I am glad that I can relate to the dear prophet Elisha in the Old Testament, who was bald (2nd Kings 2:23)... lol.

My friend, I have never felt happier in the Lord than I do now. I suffer with chronic neck pain all the time. It never goes away. I have lost my marriage. I've lost my home. I lost my retirement. I lost my pets. I lost nearly everything! I've been through two failed neck surgeries. I've been through painful situations that were far worse than death. I've been through so much traumatic adversity and inexplicable emotional pain, but praise God, I am a blessed man. God is so good!!! My name is written in Heaven. I have an international Gospel preaching ministry in cyberspace. If my work ended now (and by God's grace I plan to keep going until the end), God has influenced over 100 million people through this humble sinner, over the pastor 15 years. I received a wonderful e-mail last week from a man who was saved, sanctified and called to go into the ministry as a preacher through my ministry labors. I am always humbled to hear such testimonies. To God be the glory, great things He hath done! Thank you Lord for using a big sinner like me to reach others for Christ. Only God is greatly to be praised, for great things HE HATH DONE!

Truly, a man couldn't ask for a better God and Savior. John 20:28, “And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.” The following passage of Scripture DOES NOT refer to natural Jews, but to every born-again child of God (including Jews and Gentiles - Galatians 3:26-29). Unsaved Jews haven't been called out of darkness into God's marvellous light, Christians have...

1st Peter 2:7, “Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”

No matter how bad life may get at times, we always have a wondrous reason to rejoice every day, knowing that our name is recorded in Heaven. Luke 10:20, “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Nearly everyone in this sin-cursed world is going to spend eternity burning in the fires of Hell. The truth is more horrifying than the most bizarre episode of The Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits. Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Is your name in the Lamb's Book of Life? It is only if you have been saved. You get saved by believing the Gospel (Good News) of the Lord Jesus Christ.

1st Peter 1:23, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,

A man with two watches never really knows what time it is;
And a man with two Bibles never really knows what the Word of God is!!!

Psalms 116:15, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.”

“The only inspired Words of God are in the King James Bible!”
—Dr. Jack Hyles (an awesome quote —Dr. Jack Hyles (THE REAL BATTLE!”)

“And brother, any time anybody ever casts any reflection upon the accuracy and the inspiration—verbal inspiration—of this Bible, I'll guarantee you he was inspired by the demons. I'll guarantee you! I don't care if he's got a 'reverend' in front of his name. I don't care if he has a clerical collar on. I don't care what school he's been to. He's of the Devil if he says that the Bible is not verbally inspired by God! —Dr. Jack Hyles, a great quote from the awesome MP3 sermon titled, “Satan's masterpiece.”
