Beware Of 'ParentalGuide.com' Website's False Gospel
By David J. Stewart
Matthew 24:11, “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”
The internet is saturated with religion, but truth is seldom found. Here's another example of the massive amount of heresy on the internet today. Literally 95% of everything concerning God and religion on the internet is contaminated rubbish, doctrines of devils and heresy.
The website is at ParentalGuide.com and teaches that salvation is a commitment to live for Christ. They say that a person must be water baptized and cease from living in sin to be saved. That's not the Gospel at all. Here's a quote from their heretical website, from a webpage that errantly teaches that a believer's salvation can be lost...
“Salvation is a commitment to Jesus in deed, not just in word."
That is a lie of the Devil. Salvation is NOT a commitment. Not at all. Making a commitment to Jesus is a matter of discipleship, not salvation. The preceding quote from ParentalGuide.com is pure works-based salvation (which is no salvation at all). Salvation is a gift. It's not a reward for good deeds done. Salvation is not a prayer (although a sinner may express his faith in the Lord accompanied by a prayer). Salvation is a supernatural miracle of God in response to one's faith in the good news (Gospel) of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen. People need to stop tampering with the Gospel in an attempt to force sinners to live morally. A changed life is the FRUIT of genuine repentance; not a part of the ROOT of saving faith. It's a big issue. The false plan of salvation taught by ParentalGuide.com is a sure road to Hell.
Biblical salvation is a free gift according to Romans 5:!5, paid for by Jesus' precious blood. 1st Peter 1:18-19, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” Jesus paid our sin debt because He loves us (Romans 5:8). Christ lived a sinless life, perfect in every manner, and yet evil men and women crucified Him as a criminal for speaking the truth about Who He is. They told Jesus in John 10:33 that they wanted to kill Him for claiming to be God in the flesh. John 1:1-3,14 verifies that Jesus was indeed God in the flesh. We also learn this truth in 1st Timothy 3:16 if you have a trustworthy King James Bible (modern Bibles butcher this Scripture).
The Bible defines the Gospel as the DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ. 1st Corinthians 15:1-14, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” They have taken away my Lord from the plan of salvation, teaching a corrupt message of damnation.
Salvation is NOT making a commitment to Christ. Salvation is resting in the promise of God (Hebrews 4:11), obeying the Gospel by believing on Christ. Titus 1:2 says that God promised eternal life before the world began. We are not saved by our own self-righteousness; but rather, by Christ's righteousness which is imputed to each believer at the moment of salvation. We are saved by faith through grace PLUS NOTHING! Eternal life is a free gift. Why is it so hard for most people to understand that? It's because Satan is a liar and deliberately tries to convince men that they must merit salvation. Don't listen to men, listen to God in the Bible. Jesus said in John 5:39 to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!
ParentalGuide.com teaches all of the following must happen to be born-again (saved)...
Have you repented? Have you been converted? Are you one of the majority that think they are saved, but are not? Have you become as a little child to God’s correction? Are you allowing Jesus Christ (His Word) to reign over you? Have you become a new creature? Have you been baptized into Christ, and have you been buried in the water after repentance? Do you have the answer of a good conscience before God? Has your old man been crucified? Are you living unto God? Have you put off the old man? Have you been renewed in the spirit of your mind? Have you put on the new man? Have you stopped walking according to the course of this world and the desires of your flesh and your mind? Have you been transformed? Have you been begotten of God? Do you really have God’s Spirit? Do not go by feelings. Judge yourself by the Word of God. Most "feel" they are saved, but they will perish to hell. Examine yourself by the Word of God to see if ye be in the faith.
Have you truly been born-again? It is written in Acts 2:38-REPENT, AND BE BAPTIZED EVERY ONE OF YOU. It is written in Mk 16:16-HE THAT BELIEVETH AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED; BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT SHALL BE DAMNED. Did you at some time in the past ask Jesus to be your Savior and even get baptized, but then went back into willful sin and rebellion against God? It is written, NO ONE WHO CONTINUES TO SIN HAS EITHER SEEN HIM OR KNOWN HIM-1 Jn 3:6 NIV. Repent, and be baptized.
Have you truly been born-again and been faithful? Are you really doing the will of God or your own will?

To the young convert who is not yet stablished in the faith (Colossians 2:6-7), the preceding passage may seem doctrinally sound; but it is not, not at all. According to ParentalGuide.com a person must clean up their life of sin, get baptized with water and commit their life to God or else they're not saved. These are lies of the Devil. I thought my website was big. They have spent a lot of time writing massive articles a mile long, all based in woeful ignorance about the truth of God's Word. Someone doesn't know what they're talking about. I say that, not to be unkind, but to be HONEST and warn others.
The thing that sets my website ministry apart from thousands of others is that I preach THE TRUTH. 1+1=2. If other people dare to say that 1+1=3, then they have the freedom to do so; but they are telling a lie. They are wrong. It is NOT truth. The ParentalGuide.com website is saturated with lies, disinformation and demonic heresy. Most of their teachings are doctrines of devils (1st Timothy 4:1-3).
Water baptism is NOT required for Biblical salvation. The Apostle John wrote the Epistle of 1st John so we could that we are saved as believers (1st John 5:13). Yet John never mentions any type of baptism in 1st, 2nd nor 3rd John. Who's kidding who? Paul plainly stated in 1st Corinthians 1:17 that Christ didn't send him to baptize; but rather, to preach the Gospel. No one in the Old Testament was baptized with water. Are there two gospels? Well there must be if New Testament saints are now required to be baptized; but Old Testament saints weren't.
Acts 10:43 evidences that old and New Testament saints were all saved alike, that is, by faith through grace in the Lord. Genesis 15:6 says that Abram (Abraham) believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness (Romans 3:4-6). Salvation is received; not achieved. Eternal life is free for the taking. Simply receive the Gospel as payment for your sins and you'll be saved.
Please beware of any website, person, church, book, or any form of media that tries to teach you that salvation requires an OBLIGATION of the part of the sinner. It was Christ Jesus Who bore of weight of our sin upon the cross, so we wouldn't have to in the Lake of Fore. Eternal life is a free gift, paid for by Jesus' precious, literal, blood (1st Peter 1:18-19). In Biblical salvation, the burden rests solely upon the Lord Jesus Christ; but in a false plan of salvation (like the one you just read from ParentalGuide.com), the burden is always placed upon the sinner instead.
Beware of ANOTHER GOSPEL (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4) which places the burden upon a sinner to—change, forsake sinful bad habits, surrender all to Christ, commit one's life to Jesus, turn over a new leaf, join a denomination, get water baptized, partake of sacraments, cease from sinful living, endeavor with God's help to do better, be willing to forsake sin, prayer a sinner's prayer, et cetera—a person may do all these things and yet NEVER believe the Gospel at all to be saved.
The Gospel, Biblically according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, is that Christ DIED, He was BURIED and He was RESURRECTED three days later. This is the Good News of Christ Jesus that brings salvation if a sinner believes (trust and relies) upon it to be saved. If you'll receive what Christ did to pay for YOUR SINS, then you are saved eternally my friend.
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man...” —Colossians 1:27-28
